Inventory Services – What We Do

 

We provide independent reports on properties whether it’s a listed building, a house, a flat or a single room

Start of Tenancy

 

We visit the property and undertake a thorough inspection of the home and the contents if they are included.

We carefully assess the condition room by room and record it in our report along with supporting photographs. We provide a copy to the tenants giving them the chance to comment immediately if necessary and to the letting agent or landlord.

Interim Inspections

 

During a longer tenancy we can visit and check the property for any developing problems such as damp and condensation before they become a real and expensive issue. We also check the condition of your property, decoration issues, damage and signs of unauthorised occupation.

 

End of Tenancy

Using our report, if we had done the initial inventory, or the check in report done at the time we undertake a further inspection to identify deterioration, damage, loss and other problems.

 

We allow for fair wear and tear and let the landlord or agent know of any urgent problems which need to be fixed before the property is let again. Wherever possible we get the tenant to sign the report to agree that we have made a fair assessment so that issues about the deposit can be resolved promptly and efficiently.
